HIMS partners with schools to help teachers and students who are
blind and visually impaired with access to Assistive Technology (AT)
tools to enhance their educational opportunities and experiences.
With HIMS products, students excel not only in the classroom and
extra-curricular activities, but in their career and in life!

As an active member of our Braille community,
HIMS is a Corporate Member of AERBVI and a Manufacturer
Member of the Assistive Technology Industry Association.
HIMS attends many national and state AER (Association of Education
and Rehabilitation for the Blind and Visually Impaired)
conferences, as well as annual international Assistive Technology
conferences such as ATIA, CSUN and the bi-annual AER

HIMS is an advertising sponsor in AccessWorld Magazine as well
as the Journal of Visual Impairment and Blindness (JVIB) published by
the American Foundation of the Blind (AFB). HIMS also participates in
select Regional Braille Challenge events held every January through March
where our Braille representatives interact with parents and students
to spread information and resources about Braille.

HIMS encourages and supports Braille literacy and accessibility to Braille with our high-performance Braille Sense U2 Notetaker models and Braille EDGE 40
